Jelly Bean Garden

The Jelly Bean Border forms a bridge of shrubs and trees between the house gardens and the gardens in the Pond Paddock. The first cordyline I planted lives here, and there are Viburnums, Hypericum, ornamental thistles and large flaxes under the elms. On the pond side my hosta garden enjoys shelter and shade. The house side garden is sunny, and is full of roses and smaller glowing red flaxes, with many spring daffodils and pansies.
